A hidden gem in Higgensville. We never knew it existed till we were taken, and we were impressed with what we got. The place is fun and interesting and the barbeque is delicious. Expect big portions!
The price was good for the portions. We ordered the cue for two (1/2 slab pork ribs, choice of 2 - 3 oz. of sliced meats, and two sides) for $25.99. The restaurant was clean with a very charming atmosphere. Unfortunately, they were short staffed so the service was not as good as it might've been. With a party of 14, there wasn't one mistake in our order!! Overall very satisfied!!
The service was excellent, the food notnso much. The homemade chips are fantastic. The brisket we got was tough, dry and tasted like leftovers.
No healthy vegetables and staff tends to seat everyone in one spot so autistic kids have to struggle with crowds while rest of resturaunt is empty. But food is good.
Promptly seated, homey atmosphere. wonderful aroma, waitress took our order, brought our food, never came back to check on us. Had to stop her to get our check. Ordered beef brisket sandwich and smoked pit beans. Both tasted very strong of chili powder. The brisket was cold and very dry, even with bbq sauce added, each bite had to be washed down to prevent choking. Couldn't finish the meal.
